Named after its original owners, Tingley, Reagh, and Adams, TRA began operating in 1950 as a dry grocery products wholesaler... in Middleton, NS. In 1957, Sobeys purchased TRA. Since then, TRA has expanded into all of Atlantic Canada. TRA Atlantic supplies it's customers from one of it's six distribution centres throughout Atlantic Canada. TRA Atlantic believes that a product is never sold until it reaches the hands of the end consumer. As a result we are a retail driven wholesaler. e operate the growing Clover Farm Supermarket program and also the largest convenience store chain in Canada, Kwik-Way convenience stores.
