The Dermatology Center

The Dermatology Center was established in 1976 by Dr. David Shearer and was located in the heart of Florence on Dixie Highway. In 2001 he was joined by his son, Dr. Clay Shearer, and the practice moved to its current location at 10060 Demia Way, off Mt. Zion Road in Florence. The practice specializes in all aspects of dermatology including adult an... d pediatric patients. Areas of particular interest include treatment of skin cancers, psoriasis, complex skin rashes, as well as common skin ailments such as acne and warts. We also offer a full range of cosmetic dermatologic services such as Botox, fillers, laser treatments, and sclerotherapy. Our facility includes surgical rooms on site as well as phototherapy units. Both Dr. Shearers are board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. We also employ Lindsay House, who is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner. We take pride in offering the highest level of dermatologic service and we are welcoming new patients. Dr. David Shearer is certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member and past president of the Cincinnati Dermatologic Society. Dr. Clay Shearer is certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Cincinnati Dermatologic Society, Kentucky Dermatologic Society, Northern Kentucky Medical Society, and the Kentucky Medical Association.Read More
