Redwood Capital is a provider of advisory services to early stage (seed, A round) companies and, occasionally, a lender to such firms. To help entrepreneurs take their ideas to the next stage, we apply our founder's common sense approach to the many challenges facing the entrepreneur - such as finding the right business partners, human resources, a... nd, of course, funding. Founded in 1982, Redwood Capital remains entrepreneurial, and is exploring the creation of a small ($10-$25 million) debt fund to augment our ability to address the many lending opportunities available in the marketplace of early stage companies. We invite inquiries from qualified individuals and organizations who might be interested in partnering on such a project. Redwood Capital is licensed by the State of California under the Finance Lenders Law.
