Savvy Women's mission is to educate, connect and empower women in business alongside helping grow and maximise members' website traffic and sales leads, and is open to all women from new business start-ups to established entrepreneurs. Savvy Women is the brainchild of Tauranga resident Erika Bradley, who runs a web business in New Zealand, and has... successfully set up and run recruitment and retail businesses in the UK. Erika was inspired to start Savvy Women after realising how many women in business missed opportunities to market their business the web savvy way because of a lack of opportunity, knowledge and budget. In her day job she works with clients with large budgets, but was frustrated about being unable to give more help to smaller businesses. This led her to dream up Savvy Women, which she see as a doorway giving women greater opportunities to network and grow through business listings and membership. She said: 'Having a business that everyone wants to be part of makes it so much easier to spread the word and the feedback and excitement from other women in business has kept me going through from design concept to launch. "Regardless of your stage of business or career, Savvy Women provides a platform that introduces you to other inspiring women with whom you can network and learn from." Savvy Women provides two distinct platforms that make getting in touch with the right people easy. One is a business directory for women to promote and advertise their business services and products to a community of likeminded business women or find the talent they need in the site's online directory, with the benefit of obtaining more targeted sales, potential leads and website traffic.
