About Meridian Behavioral Health Services
Meridian has been providing a full array of evidence-based child and adult mental health and substance abuse services in the seven westernmost counties in North Carolina since 2003. In recent years, the organization also began to offer services in Buncombe and Transylvania counties. The mission of the organization is deeply rooted in an ongoing commitment to the public mental health consumer, particularly those individuals who experience the most complex and severe psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse challenges, who may be at risk for negative outcomes and/or those at risk for "falling through the cracks" of the system.
