Mack Media Management Group, Inc. was founded in 1990 as a direct response marketing business, conducting advertising campaigns for national advertisers on a national basis. Over the years our involvement in response marketing projects has expanded well beyond the scope of television commercials and programs and into developing, coordinating and im... plementing multilevel integrated marketing programs involving business, product and market risk assessment. In the fall of 1997 we were involved in a standard market research project for one of our national advertisers. Our mission was to identify market changes over the first two quarters of the year and look at future economic influences that could affect consumer-buying patterns across the country. We came across a Business Week Article that headlined the Year 2000 problem published earlier in the summer. It outlined the cause and potential affects that computer failure may have on us. It described how for years, programmers condensed dates from four digits down to two, and that hardware, software and many other pieces of equipment and systems might not work on January 1, 2000. It went on to add that equipment we have come to rely upon for business as usual" might not recognize the new millennium, might not roll over properly, might not recognize the leap year, and might not function at all. That article was the beginning of what was to become a massive process of investigation, research and due diligence at Mack Media Management Group, Inc.. In fact, it is safe to say which has changed the course of our business and how we manage all our clients' projects as well as our own business. In late 1998 we formed a division of MACK Media Management Group, Inc. called IT Solutions, specializing in Project Management, training and seminars for Year 2000 and beyond.Read More
