Lonsdale Event Rentals began in 1972 with a 1,200 square foot store on Lonsdale Avenue (hence the name) in North Vancouver, BC. This rental store focused on Tool Equipment Rentals, tables, chairs and general home products. From day one the company instilled strong values of friendly service, dependability and quality products. In the late 70's the... company began expanding into other product lines including linens, glassware, dish and table wares. These new party items quickly became more and more popular as people began to become aware of the ease of renting for special events. In the mid 80's Lonsdale separated the company into two divisions: Party Rentals and Tool Rentals. In 2000, Lonsdale Event Rentals became its own dedicated force focused on better serving the specialized needs of its Special Event Customers in and around the North Shore and Vancouver. Today, the business is located in its central Vancouver location and utilizes a central modern operations facility.
