Juneau Youth Services (JYS) is a comprehensive behavioral health provider for children and youth, and their families. Over fifty years ago, Juneau Youth Services (then called the Juneau Receiving Home) met the needs of runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth. A lot has changed in fifty years, but the company's commitment to youth in crisis hasn't. The... company began operations in 1961 and currently provide a full array of emergency, residential, and community-based programs, including both mental health and chemical dependency services. The company's overall admission philosophy at JYS is to provide individualized, strengths-based wraparound services to children and families - provided in the most normative and least restrictive settings.
