We know. We have been there too. I became interested in home care because of my own personal experience. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer and dementia, and I witnessed first-hand the toll the care took on my mother. This lead me on the road to looking for caregivers to help my mom with my fathers care but what I found was that while there w... ere several companies that could provide caregivers, none of them took time to really get to know him so as a result, none of the caregivers seemed to be a good fit for my fathers personality and were only focused on providing basic personal care. There was a clear void out there and I felt that as a daughter, my father deserved more he deserved to feel like he was more than just a patient who was waiting for his life to expire. When he passed away, I felt compelled to put up my own home care company and made it our mission to not just find out as much as we can about each of our Clients needs, personality, history, but also hold my caregivers accountable to ensure that our Clients are encouraged and stimulated to lead high-quality, purposeful lives.
