Thanks for your interest in the K-W Highland Glen Camera Club! If youre looking for other photography enthusiasts in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, then we would like to invite you to come out to one of our meetings. The Highland Glen Camera Club (HGCC) offers its members a number of ways to improve their photography, see the work of other photograph... ers and speakers, get feedback on images, engage in competitions, participate in workshops, get new ideas, and spend time with other people who share their interest in photography. Our members photographic interests are quite diverse, with favourite subjects including landscape, portraiture, nature, travel, and fine art topics. Moreover, club members utilize a wide range of equipment, from older twin-lens reflex rollfilm cameras to darkroom black and white to the latest in digital technology. The club offers a variety of competitions and non-competitive events to showcase digital images and prints. Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month excluding holidays, starting with the third Monday in September and going until the end of May. The club holds two dinners in December and June. Highland Glen Camera Club will resume regular meetings in September 2020, although in an altered format due to COVID 19. Starting in September and for the remainder of the fall, we will be meeting virtually with a hope to resume physical meetings in the winter. Members will receive virtual meeting login information via email and our community network. Please check the Event Calendar for any changes or announcements regarding meeting dates, locations and further event details. If you are interested in joining the club, you are invited to come out and try a meeting or two to see if the club is right for you.
