Firsching, Marstiller, Rusbarsky and Wolf Engineering Inc. was formed on November 6, 1995 by Richard C. Firsching, David D. Rusbarsky and Daniel J. Wolf. FMRW is located just 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh in Forest Hills, PA. FMRW specializes in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) engineering, primarily for commercial and institutional... clients. FMRW has worked for many of the Pittsburgh area hospitals for nearly its entire existence; however, FMRW has an extensive list of non-institutional clients, as well. This list includes multiple types of buildings, such as branch banks, corner restaurants, professional office buildings, light industrial buildings and airport terminals (Concourse "B" at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C.). David D. Rusbarsky has over 38 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, including nine years as the HVAC Department head at RCF Engineers. Dave is a Senior Principal and the supervisor of the HVAC department. David is noted for his work in the hospital and laboratory field, and was the lead Design Engineer of the team that designed the first thermal storage system in the Pittsburgh area. This was designed for the Rangos Research Center at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. David was also one of the first engineers in the area to use large, engine-driven chillers in tandem with electric chillers to provide both heating and cooling. This design was utilized for the Duquesne University Science Center. Duane E. Englehart, CPD has over 20 years of experience as a Plumbing/Fire Protection designer. Duane is a Principal and the Plumbing and Fire Protection Department head. Duane has designed domestic water, medical gas, and fire protection systems for a variety of building types. Joseph V.
