Our volunteer Board of Directors includes people who receive support, family members and other interested community stakeholders. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, committed and adaptable person to fill the position of: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and motivating leader in the nonprofit sector. Reporting to a Board of Directors, responsibilities include overall management of: our strategic plan and operations, programs and services, fiscal management, resource development, human resources, administration and external relations. The Executive Director will ensure that the mission statement of the agency is promoted through the services provided. Qualifications: Completed post secondary education and a minimum of 7 " 10 years in the developmental services sector with 5 " 7 years at the senior management level. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge, understanding and experience working in the area of developmental services and experience working with the Ministry of Community & Social Services and other partners. This is a highly visible position requiring strong leadership, communication and presentation skills. Must have a proven track record in: financial management, policy and procedure development and implementation, development and performance management of employees, personal planning, and conflict resolution.
