Alamgeer Foods is a family company with its roots going back to 1979. This is when Mohammed Hafeez, the founder of Alamgeer Foods, opened a small grocery shop in Small Heath, Birmingham, England. Along with selling groceries, we also began to import curry powder. This became an immediate success with our customers and within a decade, we grew from... our humble beginnings to become a major importer and distributor of the finest quality authentic Asian foods. We pride ourselves as the leading manufacturer and distributor of "Bassar". This is a term indigenous to Northern Pakistan and Kashmir meaning Curry Massala.
