Larry Waggoner, b. 1943 -
An artist, photographer, and naturalist, Larry has wandered through 26 countries - sketchbook, cameras, and field watercolors in hand.His reference materials bring nature and life to the canvas.He loves plein air painting and photography.It is not unusual to see him with four cameras around his neck.
Larry is living in and painting the wilds of New Mexico, where a year-round love affair with nature is aided by changing weather, beautiful cloud formations, spectacular sunsets, magnificent boulders, and rugged terrain.

Larry received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands.
Larry Waggoner was selected for Arts for the Parks ,Top 100, in 1991, and the October West Show 1993 and 1995.His work has been shown in the following museums and galleries: Glibb Museum of Art, Charleston, SC, Elle Carothers Dunnegan Gallery, Bolivar, MO, Chamizal National Memorial, El Paso TX, San Bernardino County Museum, San Bernardino, CA, Prestige Gallery, Mississauga, Ontario Canada.
Larry Waggoner is the owner of the Dancing Spirits Gallery in Santa Fe.Dancing Spirits features a variety of prominent artists who specialize southwest landscapes and wildlife.Larry's own art is also displayed at Dancing Spirits.
Larry Waggoner is the founder of the Wildlife Artists Association, created in 1992 to support the collaboration of talented artists for the promotion of wildlife conservation through professional quality wildlife art.
He maintains memberships in Oil Painters of America and the New Mexico Water Color Society, and remains a signature member of the Wildlife Artists Association.
